What is the multilingual wrapper?
It is a SCORM compliant package that wraps multiple language SCORM packages into a single SCORM file.
Will it support SCORM packages developed in any authoring tool?
The present version of the wrapper supports SCORM packages developed in these authoring tools:

Is there any size limit on the SCORM packages?
To ensure security, we recommend 200 MB per language SCORM package. It can be increased based on your requirements.
Is the wrapper a one-time purchase or subscription based?
The wrapper is available as an annual subscription model with unlimited wrapper generations. There is a one-time setup cost for branding and other customizations. The contract will be renewed annually, based on mutual agreement.
Can we create a wrapper by combining different eLearning modules and design a curriculum?
No. Only language versions of the same module can be merged to make a wrapper. Learners can select any language within the module and complete the training. It will send data as per single SCORM package standards.
If we merge different modules for a curriculum, the wrapper will pass the completion and other tracking data even if learners complete just one module. Other modules can be skipped.
Will this wrapper work on any LMS?
It depends on the LMS. The wrapper is generated and tested on standard SCORM Cloud. We recommend testing a sample wrapper to ensure it works on other LMSs.
Can we customize the wrapper with our branding?
Yes. We will add your logo to the wrapper; you can add your background images.
Is there any limit on the number of languages the wrapper can work with?
You can add as many languages as you want, considering the space available on the launch page to display the buttons. We can customize the page to add more languages, if required.
How do we update the wrapper if there is a change in one of the language packs?
We do not save the wrapper permanently. Once generated, you can download the wrapper within 2 working days, based on the expiration settings configured.
In case of updates, you need to re-generate the wrapper by uploading all languages, including the updated packages.
Will language titles be displayed in English?
Language titles will be displayed in the respective languages. For example, the button for Greek will have Ελληνικά as the button text.
Do we get any tutorials to use the tool?
The tool is very simple to use. Even people without a technical background can generate the wrapper easily, in just a few steps. We provide a training session after the setup and a user guide.
Which SCORM versions does the wrapper support?
SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004
Can we get the wrapper for authoring tools not covered in the list?
Yes. Our technical team will analyze the feasibility of the tool you need. If it can be done, we will add and customize it for your organization.
What are the payment terms?
100% advance payment to use the tool for a year.
When we merge multiple languages into one package, will learners experience loading issues?
The size of the multilingual wrapper size will be the sum of the individual language packs. This single file will be uploaded on the LMS, and learners will get to access only one package. So, there will be no loading issues.
Can we wrap SCORM packages of different versions or those created by different authoring tools?
No. All SCORM packages must be developed in the same authoring tool and be of the same SCORM version as well.
Can we change the language selection layout?
Yes, but it will require additional customization. You can request the desired layout or design on presenting the language selection option to learners.
Can multiple users use the multilingual wrapper tool?
Yes. Multiple users within the same organization can use the tool. We do not charge based on the number of users or the number of wrappers generated.
Will the tool accept non-SCORM packages and generate a SCORM compliant wrapper?
No. All language files must be SCORM compliant, and must be tested individually before generating the wrapper.
Which language SCORM packages does the wrapper accept?
Almost all popular languages are available. If any language is not available, you can use the “Custom” language option to add the missing language.
What kind of personal user data do you store?
We do not store any user details. Any person within your organization can generate the wrapper using their email address and the common password.
That email address is used to validate the user and the generated wrapper download link is sent to that email account.
